Terms of Service
Last updated 14 August 2026
These terms cover this website and TheOne Nightjar Publisher, the internal tool we use to publish our films to our own YouTube channels.
Note on the publishing tool: it is a private, first-party tool. It is not offered to the public, has no user accounts, and cannot be used to act on anyone else's YouTube channel.
1. This website
This site presents information about Nightjar and links to our YouTube channels. It is provided as is, without warranty. We may change or remove content at any time.
2. Our content
The films, artwork, thumbnails and text on this site and on our channels are ours unless stated otherwise. You may share links to them. You may not re-upload, redistribute or use them to train models without our written permission.
3. TheOne Nightjar Publisher
The tool exists solely to upload films we produced to channels we own. It:
- is operated only by us, on our own equipment;
- authenticates with a Google Account we own, using OAuth 2.0;
- is not distributed, sold, licensed or made available to third parties;
- has no end users other than us, and therefore collects nothing from anyone.
4. YouTube API Services
The tool uses YouTube API Services. In using it we agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and we operate in accordance with the YouTube API Services Developer Policies. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
We do not scrape YouTube, do not build derived metrics, do not store YouTube data beyond the metadata of our own uploads, and do not sell or transfer any YouTube data.
5. AI-assisted production
Our films are made with the help of generative AI tools and are then edited and mastered by us. Every upload carries YouTube's altered-or-synthetic-content disclosure. Characters are invented rather than modelled on real people.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site or our content.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Bangalore, Karnataka having jurisdiction.
